The Postnatal MOT

This is for you if…

  • You are going to have a baby in the next few months or weeks and would like to get prepared for your postpartum journey to avoid/support low energy, poor sleep quality, stress, irregular periods, PMS, low mood and self-esteem

  • You would like to have some tips so that you can support yourself with regaining your menstrual cycles, breastfeeding and replenishing your nutrient stores.

  • You have realised through your fertility and pregnancy journey that selfcare is a must and would like to know what to do during postpartum.

FAQs

Is it better to book an MOT before or after having the baby?

This is entirely personal but I would suggest to do it before so that you can get prepared with some meals or ask people to help you with cooking nourishing meals and snacks when you get home from hospital.

It might help you to know that you have few things in place that will support with your recovery. Also I have added a 30 min follow up call that you can use at anytime during your maternity leave to see if the plan is helping and if we need to put other habits in place.

Are the recipes complicated? I don’t like cooking and don’t think I will have time to shower when I have the baby, so cooking seems a long shot!

The recipes and recommendations are easy and practical to implement and don’t require a lot of times to do.

I understand that your time will be taken with taking of the baby and this will always reflect on the protocol. I want to support you with this pivotal time and not add more stress or overwhelm

Would this suffice to fully support my Postpartum recovery?

It is unlikely that this MOT alone can fully support your recovery but it will definitely give you some of the baseline to support you during the first few weeks of motherhood.

The bespoke protocol I will give you will focus a lot on nutrition and supplement as they are the area which you can control pretty much immediately after birth and that will replenish your nutritionally depleted body. If you’re looking for something more comprehensive after birth check out my 3 month and 6 month support programmes.
